The Davao City Central 911 took part in the Full-scale Aircraft Emergency Exercise at Davao International Airport today, October 20, 2021.
During the simulation exercise, Central 911 operatives were immediately dispatched when the Air Traffic Controller on-duty declared an on-airport aircraft emergency condition. The Incident Management Team (IMT) headed by CAAP directed the Central 911 team composing of the EMS, USAR, and FAS Units to take charge of the secondary triaging, treatment, and transportation of injured passengers.
Together with the CSIS and ARFF, the Central 911 team facilitated the triage operations. The Incident Commander then terminated the full-scale exercise after all issues of the incident were addressed.
Also present during the activity were men and women from the Philippine Air Force, PNP-AVSEU, BFP, and OCD.
